Roula

Roula (Rou) is a proud, first generation Greek American who grew up on the north side of Chicago. She is an active member of SAG-AFTRA with years of experience working on commercials, film, print and theatre.

In addition to acting, Roula has a strong passion for philanthropy and has been actively volunteering her time throughout Chicago for over 15 years.

Her favorite quote by Maya Angelou is a perfect example of how she tries live her life everyday — “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.”

Roula first began working with Kick A Rock in 2017 on the award winning 48 Hour Film Project Karen Wins. Since then she’s contributed on several short films and sketches, including Max JusticeAphrodite Inc. and her personal favorite The Last Straw

When not acting, Roula can be found shooting photography, exploring the city and learning new skills for styling on a budget. And, if you ever wish to collaborate with her, she says don’t hesitate to reach out. She’s always up for new film project opportunities. And if you ask us, we’d say she’s pretty darn cool to work with.
